Anyone besides me wondering about the Presidential elections?

As in "Is Yushchenko toast?"

not only that :) but
a) could there be 'early' elections?
b) what does this round of 'falsifications' means for the next upcoming election?
c) will intl observers be allowed?
d) what do the numbers from this election result mean for next time around?

Actually, I think the observers are saying this election was pretty honest as these things go in Ukraine. There are some real funny numbers for Moroz in certain Donetsk precincts, where it looks like someone decided at the last minute to boost his total. I mean, you don't go from leading with 80 percent of the vote all over the place and suddenly come up in second place somewhere, unless that's where Moroz lives and all his relatives vote in large numbers or something.
Here's one thing I don't know about Ukrainian law: If the orange team splits up, does that automatically mean a new election, as in the West when we have a "vote of confidence" in the parliamentary system, or could it be that say Regions and Our Ukraine could form a new parliamentary coalition and carry on?
See, I don't think Yush and Yulia can last that long, unless Yush is reconciled to not running for re-election. Yulia is the stronger candidate so it wouldn't make sense for the Oranges to go with Yush for president .. i don't think he could win, personally. Maybe it will be Yush, Yulia and Yanu again with the runoff between Yanu and Yulia.
That should be fun.

By law - no new parliamentary elections after a snap election for 18 months. After a split - what happens? Coalition reformation I would guess, and set the timer for future elections.
