Bookstore 'Raiders'

Bookstore in Kyiv, is under 'raider' attack. Another business takeover which blurs the lines between legality and illegality. More about about closure/s of bookstores and hospital in Kyiv in english.

I guess this is not considered a 'problem' since books are too expensive for most, regular people to purchase anyway. Heck, enough difficulty just trying to buy necessities like food. (tv news report from Ukraine regarding food prices)

People's Self Defense as well as others are having a rally in Kyiv to try to save the bookstore "Znannia/Knowledge". The bookstore is in danger of being evicted (very valuable, city real estate.) (ukranews story in eng) (UNIAN in eng)
