Crowing for Raiffaisen

In this article (and this article, but it is for subscribers only) Kyiv Post crows about the purchase of Ukraine's Aval Bank (one of the biggest) by Austrian Raiffeisen Bank. This is big money and a big deal and if it goes through all transparent and nice it will really help Ukraine speed up the pace towards more competition and those European standards people talk about.

I will look for more information on this deal, but for now, I'm just going to add my voice to theirs.

Erhem, <Caw! Caw!>

not that sauseschritt is proud of it or that sauseschritt plays the chauvinist card, but raiffeisen bank is an austrian enterprise going strongly for east and southeast europe. greetings from austria!

My apologies, Sauseschritt. Thank you very much for correcting my error. As you can see, I've changed my reference to Raiffeisen to Austria, rather than German, as I'd accidentally written.
