I can explain. Just look at ukrainian state sign (tryzub). It has 3 edges. Tree fingers mean ukrainian independent. Ukraine can't be independent without democracy.

Dan, In reference to picture 1 of New Year's photos - "Vladimir Malyshev, Lieutenant-General, The Head of Ministry of Internal Affairs Department in Donetsk Region, has sent in his resignation. He made the statement at today's press conference, dedicated to the summary of the regional police activity in 2004. As he said he sent in his resignation to retire on a pension.
