Photos from the Inauguration

Well thanks to discoshaman for pointing out this Blog de Connard pic of a Yanukovych supporter on Maidan. I definitely don't think all pictures are worth a thousand words, (two words "this sucks" applies to many) but this one is worth at least twice that many.

Neeka's Backlog also has some AP photos of the event.

I have also gotten my own pictures of the event up, finally, after a bunch of help from Lesya. They are here. I also have some farewell pictures of the Tent City here.

Thank you very much for the cool photos and esp. the captions. I like the one of Poroshenko doing high fives, or the info. that Vakarchuk was hugging people (he is such a cool dude). And the cute baby photos are always welcome. And I was happy to hear about the later concert and fireworks - I thought that Yushchenko's speech and event were kinda brief (I know he's a very busy guy). And thank you very much for the photos of the last of tent city. How they lasted for so many days, in that freezing cold weather, under spartan conditions, is a major testament to Ukrainian resilience.

You're welcome, Hello and Neeka! I have a few more from the tents that I hope to get up with some final stories by the end of the week. (I may get more stories later, but these will be the last from interviews right on Maidan)
