I Got Interviewed!

I got interviewed with AirAmerica on Dec 9th, but only just now got a copy of the interview on mp3. If you're curious to hear what my voice sounds like when it is stilted and full of nervousness, click here.

"AirAmerica"

Yikes!! That's the ultra-left broadcast outfit has been struggling to stay on the air because it can't pay its bills - reason: not even enough left-leaning Americans listen to its swill.

It has survived on huge cash infusions from lefty millionaires - they just got another 13 million the first of this month, to keep them going.

I'm guessing you're not familiar with ?air' history, Dan... 8^)

Here's a recent glowing Washington Compost blood-transfusing puff-piece re:

You did very well, Dan... I enjoyed it all. I was pleased you were allowed to talk without the typical interruptions. But, overall the interview was far too short.

Notably, the person interviewing you threw a spear at the truth, saying in effect that the outcome of the orange revolution was equivalent to Kathryn Harris being fired instead of being elected to Congress. That was exceedingly lame.

Harris followed the letter of the law - and she was elected in an honest election - overwhelmingly, by the people of Florida, to her Congressional seat - now twice. But, to American lefties, Harris is the ?Cruella DeVille' that denied Gore his rightful seat in the Oval Office. That's pretty sick.

Hi Ron, thanks for the encouragement.

I don't want to get on the topic of Kathryn Harris because I know nothing about Florida politics, and plan to remain clueless.

I do want to defend AirAmerica, though. They are very leftist, I'm sure we'd disagree about lots of stuff if we sat down and chatted.

But what they did for this interview was pretty straight shooting. One of the fellows joked about close elections and Ohio in an email to me, and I said it's really in a different league. (actually, I said for it to be in a similar league we'd have to live in a world in which Michael Moore was beheaded, Kerry almost assassinated, Heinz under tax inspections throughout the campaign, Edwards in prison and the entire United States plunged into a Communist nightmare for 100 years, in order to produce some really evil politicians, then we might be comparable) He laughed, and didn't take it badly. Then in their broadcast the announcer not only didn't comment, she underscored that the problems with fraud are not similar to the US.

Consider their opinion of Bush, yet there was no talk of Bushisms considering Yanu's language difficulties, no talk of Ohio, not one comparison in fact, except a small crowd-pleasing potshot at a Republican. AirAmerica gets my seal of approval for a standup job in this matter, and that's as far as I'm going to take it. :)
