Too Late for Redemption - More late-breaking politics

The Supreme Court has just received a letter from Yanukovych in which he asks them to cancel the results of the second round of the election and recount the votes.

Unless he's had lackeys going through the archives at all the Territorial Election Committees and changing all the votes, this is a big big win for the opposition.

All we need now is one of those little cars with lots of clowns inside

In other (older) news. Yanukovych yesterday seems to have had a bit of a breakdown. The Minister of Transportation finally jumped ship and said he wasn't going to stick with Yanukovych any longer. Yanukovych responded to this by kicking the guy in the nuts.

The same day Yanukovych's wife gave a rambling, semi-coherent diatribe against the opposition, translated into English, but beautifully preserved in its silliness, by Maidan. (Thanks for the connection Tulipgirl)
