Author Information: Father Serge Keleher is an Irish-born Ukrainian Catholic who has served as secretary to Isidore Borecky, Ukrainian Catholic bishop of Toronto and eastern Canada.

Book Description: This book traces the detailed history of the Greek-Catholic Church in the Ukraine from 1939 until 1989 under the domination of the Soviet authorities. It includes chapters on the church's historical foundation, its position in the 20th century, impacts caused by the Nazis and Communists, and the leadership of Metropolitan Andrew, Bishop Basil, Metropolitan Joseph, and Metropolitan Volodymyr.
